Aliza Sherman is an author, speaker and Web pioneer. She is the founder of the social mobile consultancy Mediaegg; contributor to Web Worker Daily and Mashable; and the author of The Everything Blogging Book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Crowdsourcing (July 2011) and Mom, Incorporated (Sept 2011). She founded the first woman-owned, full-service Internet company Cybergrrl, Inc. and the first women’s Internet organization, Webgrrls International in 1995. She is co-founder of social media marketing agency Conversify. In her spare time, she podcasts.
