Here’s some of the feedback we’ve gotten after our freshman event, held May 20 – 22, 2011 at the Miami Beach Convention Center:
“Whenever I am surrounded by women of the Web, I am impressed with how they leverage new digital products and services to enrich their lives and to help other women succeed in digital channels. This spirit of innovation and collaboration was especially noticeable at SheCon’11 and defined the tone and the energy of the conference in Miami this May 20-22…This is truly an amazing community of women.”

“Saying that today was unexpectedly great, is definitely an understatement. We started our day off at SheCon – Miami Beach to hear Guy Kawasaki’s keynote speach that highlighted his 10th book “Enchantment”. Not only did Guy show up with FREE books thanks to his friends at Citrix.com – but he also stopped to chat with people, sign books, share a smile through a photo and simply show gratitude to his fans.”

“How SheCon And Guy Kawasaki Enchanted Me: What an amazing weekend! I was down in Miami Beach Florida to attend the SheCon Conference, and what a great time. If you haven’t heard about SheCon yet, you can check it out here.”

“I went to another local conference: SheCon, the New Media Expo. While it wasn’t solely for women, there was a lot of She power at SheCon. It was great meeting so many female bloggers and business owners who were focused on making a living online. Let’s not forget some great speakers…The networking was fun too and was spiced with stories from the out-of-town ladies about singing Karaoke with Serena Williams and taking photos of a Lindsay Lohan photoshoot. Only in South Beach!”

“All these gingerly walking women were in fact powerhouses of there (sic) own…We expected “blogging 101″ type classes, basically covering the major blogging platforms and and how to use them. What a surprise it was to learn that we are doing just about everything wrong and that most women there manage dozens of blogs, even more Twitter accounts and Facebook pages…What struck us the most was the willingness to share information from the speakers. They made themselves attainable to their audience. Maybe because they are sales geniuses and understand that helping people will eventually yield them ROI, but maybe also because they have a genuine interest in other people.”

Our bloggers captured their own celebrity shots of personalities including Dana Torres (thanks to Sleep Innovations), Rosie Pope (star of Bravo’s “Pregnant in Heels” and SheCon speaker) Serena Williams and Lindsay Lohan, and were even featured in national outlets themselves, such as Tyra Banks’ Type F Blog!
